What we do
​Oficina à Lapa store was born in 1996 in a small workshop in the Lapa neighbourhood, in Lisbon. With creativity and imagination, we dedicated ourselves, over a large number of years, to design and color the children’s universe.
In 1998, Oficina à Lapa moved to a larger space in Campo d’Ourique where is today.
Now Oficina à Lapa makes all your home. We have an all range of solutions for you. We recreate your old furniture, we renovate your old upholstery, we make your curtains, blinds, sofas, frames. We design your furniture and make it come to life.

The existing wood waste in the workshop suggested us its reuse in different ways that have taken shape over the years. Finally, in 2006, these experiences turned out in a collection of tables and consoles, made with the waste of wood and of our skill and inspiration . We baptized the collection please recycle​, as a wake up call for the need of reusing resources. This is an handmade collection which produces only unique pieces.
please recycle was launched to the international public with big success at Maison et Objet, in Paris, in September 2010.
In 2001, in association with the designer Stephanie Gérard, we launched the brand Cache Cache.
Cache Cache is a collection of furniture and accessories for kids, where colours and decorations can be costumized. Each combination you choose, makes a totally unique decoration.
Cache Cache was presented in Madrid, at Feria del Mueble and is today a benchmark of children's furniture in the spanish market.
